In The Books

Duke 75, Florida State 70: Dwayne Bacon score 16 of his 19 PTS in the games final seven minutes, but the Seminoles were too far behind at that point for it to make a difference.  FSU falls to 3-6 on the road and hosts Miami on Sunday.

Kentucky 73, Vanderbilt 67: The Commodores have to be sick.  They held a 19 point lead at Rupp and were staring squarely at a safe tournament standing.  Then the trio of Malik Monk, De'Aaron Fox and Bam Adabeyo took over for the Wildcats, who swung a 25 point swing to take the win and clinch the #1 seed in the SEC Tournament.

Iowa State 86, Oklahoma State 83: The Cyclones have been one of the hottest teams in the nation and are in good position to get the 2-seed in the B12 Tourney.  A top 4-seed is a very real possibility with a deep run.

Georgia Tech 62, Pittsburgh 51: The Yellow Jacket's keep hopes for a .500 ACC finish alive, which could be their do/die mark for an at-large berth.

Tipping Off Tonight

Louisville at Wake Forest: The knock on the Deacons is definitely their 0-7 mark against the RPI Top 50.  Wake needs this one, plain and simple.

Michigan at Northwestern: A couple weeks ago, it looked like Northwestern was a sure thing while Michigan was a bubble team.  Now, the Wolverines are fairly solid while Northwestern needs a split between this one and Saturday's game against Purdue.

Marquette at Xavier: The Golden Eagles are squarely on the bubble, while Xavier is sliding in that direction after five straight losses.  Both teams could really use this to go into the conference tournament feeling safe.

Michigan State at Illinois: The Illini are on the bubble after four wins in five games.  If they can close out the week with two more wins, they'll be .500 in conference and have a shot at a bubble bid with a couple wins in the BTT.

VCU at Dayton: A VCU win would force a tie for first with one game remaining for each team before the A10 Tournament in Pittsburgh.

Arkansas at Florida: The Gators look to bounce back from Saturday's loss at Kentucky that ended their nine-game winning streak.  They close at Vandy on Saturday before the SEC Tournament.  A 2-seed could still be in reach with a strong finish.

Auburn at Georgia: The Bulldogs are still still alive, but need wins against Auburn and at Arkansas to keep that hope alive.
